The Homewood Suites Charlotte Airport is only 3 miles from the Carowinds theme park. The park is usually open from March through September. All tickets must be purchased through Carowinds.
Since 1973, Paramount's Carowinds is a 105-acre theme and water park that straddles the North and South Carolina state line. One of the most popular family entertainment attractions in the Southeast, the park offers more than 60 state-of-the-art rides, attractions, and shows for all ages. Bringing movies to life, Paramount's Carowinds is the only Carolina theme park to offer Hollywood-style entertainment. The park opens daily during season at 10am with varying closing times.
